Coronavirus Protocols

  • Please be respectful of others. Please follow social distancing guidelines while on our campus.
  • All 8 playing fields are spread out across the Istrouma Sports complex. Neighboring fields are separated by at least 45 feet.
  • We do not have back-to-back practices or games. Teams will not be entering the complex while others are exiting.
  • Game times are staggered by 30 minutes. About half of the teams will enter and exit at the same time.
  • We have two main parking lots and three entrances to the complex. We are asking teams that play/practice on Peace and Worship fields to park at the Worship Center lot. Teams that play/practice on Faith, Glory, Grace, and Hope fields can park at the Janice Drive lot and enter through the main gate in line with the concession stand. Teams that play/practice on Joy and Mercy fields can park at the Janice Drive lot and enter through the side gate next to our warehouse. This can be viewed on our Field Diagram.
  • Bleachers will not be set up; fans are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs.
  • Benches in dugouts will be marked for players to sit on.
  • We will not set out water coolers. Players will need to bring their own personal water bottle. We will have a water cooler available at the concession stand for refills.
  • We will not hand out awards, fan mail, or flyers.
  • We will have a limited concession stand that consists only of prepackaged items. Workers will wear a mask and gloves.
  • Please don’t bring sunflower seeds, even though they’re a fan favorite.
  • Restroom doors will remain open for contactless entry. There is an interior wall for privacy.
  • Equipment will be sanitized before and after each game and practice.
  • We are asking players to wash their hands or apply hand sanitizer before using baseball equipment. Players will apply hand sanitizer prior to batting.
  • Catcher’s masks will be sanitized after each use.
  • Players are welcome to bring their own batting gloves, bat, or helmet, but it is not necessary. We will provide bats and helmets.
  • All are welcome to wear a mask, but it is not required.
  • Teams will not high five at the conclusion of games.
  • Coaches will host a brief closing prayer with their teams after games on Friday. Coaches will host an award ceremony with their teams after games on Saturday. Home team will meet in right field; away team will meet in left field, if applicable. Teams playing on Grace Field and Mercy Field will meet outside of the dugouts.
